Product types compared

Sticky monitors show where insects are active, but rarely remove the source. Baits can work for certain ants when correctly placed and labeled. Enzyme drain cleaners address organic buildup, not every pest. Caulk, screens and door sweeps prevent entry. Dehumidifiers make damp areas less hospitable. Avoid indoor foggers as a first-line solution; follow EPA-registered product labels, keep chemicals away from food, children and animals, and never combine pesticides or cleaners.
